Sometimes the best clue is the car that filmed you. Certain countries shot Street View with distinctive rigs (snorkels, roof baskets, coloured covers); the car's shadow, antenna position, even a mudflap colour narrows the region. In places like Kenya, Nigeria and Mongolia a 'follow car' trailing behind appears consistently.
