Each Austrian state has its own unique bus company, the logo of which can be seen on the side of buses.

In urban areas, you will often see ads for the telecom company Tigo, with its distinct blue logo. Crucially, this company does not operate in Peru, meaning it can help you solve urban 50-50s.
NOTE: This company does operate in several other Latin American countries, so only use this tip to differentiate between Peru and Bolivia.
You will see a lot of advertisements for the beer brands Angkor, Anchor, and the very creatively named Cambodia Beer.
You can sometimes find communal mailboxes in Canada. Personal mailboxes are still very common, though.
Canada Post has a red logo, which sometimes appears on mailboxes.
NOTE: These communal mailboxes are very rare in the US. In addition, the US Postal Service has a blue logo.
The Google car can be seen towing a white and silver trailer with the word ‘Outback’ south of the Chilean National Zoo in Santiago.
ALMA OSF can be recognized by the large radio telescopes and rural facilities.
Imperial beer ads with its black eagle mascot are a common sight in Costa Rica.
Karlovačko and Ožujsko are common Croatian beer companies, with advertisements seen around the country.
Konzum and Plodine are common supermarket chains, mostly found in big cities. Plodine is exclusive to Croatia, while Konzum also operates stores in Bosnia.
Cube shaped, functionalist red brick houses are found in Zlín, as a remainder of the shoemaking company Baťa’s houses for their workers. In the city centre, high rise buildings are constructed in similar style.
NOTE: So-called Bata-villes were also constructed outside of Czechia, most notably in Slovakia and France.
The PostNord, or Post Danmark company, is the national provider of postal services in Denmark. It uses these unique postal boxes.
There are six regions in Denmark that each use a different bus transportation company. Each bus will have the brand written on the front, and have a unique colour scheme.

K-Market and S-Market are two Finnish supermarket chains with recognizable logos. Both chains operate only in Finland.
K-Market is sometimes known as K-Supermarket or K-Citymarket.
There are two regional Aldi chains, which have split Germany in two; Aldi Süd in the south, and Aldi Nord in the north.
The Central District can be recognized by the large concentration of modern skyscrapers. The district feels quite busy, affluent and well-kept, with lots of luxury brand stores and ads.
Cigarette ads can be found all over Indonesia, usually with a black or red colour scheme and around a price of 18,000 Rp. Keep an eye out for illustrated graphic pictures, and the word ‘PERINGATAN’.
This mobile network brand named Safaricom is unique to Kenya, and almost every city has one location.
Gambling is legal in Macau and its biggest source of revenue (50% of its GDP). As a result, you will see a lot of casinos and advertisements for gambling. The casinos often have very extravagant, kitsch designs.
Due to how old the Generation 2 is, many newer casinos can be seen under construction.
Trash bins with a logo resembling an ‘S’ are found in the states of Negeri Sembilan, Malacca and Johor.
Trash bins with this logo featuring a sunny landscape, saying ‘Alam Flora’ are found in Pahang, Kuala Lumpur and Putrajaya. The logo will occasionally be absent, and it will just say ‘Alam Flora’.
Habitation Clément is a rum distillery covered by a trekker. Due to it being pinpointable, some locations are on maps such as ACW. There are several landscapes in and around the distillery, including:

OXXO and Pemex are two of the most popular gas station brands in Mexico.
NOTE: While less common, OXXO can still be found in other countries.
Generation 4 coverage in eastern Mongolia uses a silver pick-up truck with a large metal box and shovel on the roof. The car was sponsored by Bodi Group, however camera stitching generally hides one of the letters.

The vast majority of garbage bins in Oman are either black and made of plastic or metallic and grey, with a three-leaf logo and the text ‘be’ah’ below it.
NOTE: Garbage bins in the UAE will occasionally have the text “bee’ah”, with two E’s. The bins are often more colourful too.
Peru has many political party logos and all of them are unique to the country. Here is a list with other parties in Peru.
American store chains, such as Wal-Mart, are very common in Puerto Rico. This will help distinguish Puerto Rico from other nearby Latin American countries and territories, where American stores are not common.
Most bus stops in Asturias have a red post with the CTA logo at the top.
NOTE: These may be confused with Madrid bus stops, which can also have a red post. The company in charge of Madrid public transport goes by EMT.
Trash containers in Asturias frequently have the logo of COGERSA, the logo’s shape is distinct and can be recognized from afar.
NOTE: Recycling bins can also feature this logo.

‘Shoprite’ is a regional supermarket chain that has locations in 6 states in the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic region of the US; Connecticut, New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Delaware, and Maryland.
‘Hy-Vee’ is a supermarket that is common primarily in the Upper Midwest states of Iowa, Minnesota, Wisconsin, and Illinois.
The supermarket chain ‘Piggly Wiggly’ is found mostly in the Southeast, as well as the state of Wisconsin.
‘H-E-B’ is a supermarket that is only located in the state of Texas. Most H-E-B stores are in large cities.
‘Publix’ is a regional supermarket chain that has locations primarily in Florida and adjacent areas of the Deep South.
The restaurant chain ‘Waffle House’ is a regional chain that is primarily found in the Southern and Southeast US. Some midwest and mid-atlantic states have some locations. Georgia, by far, is the state with the most Waffle House locations.
‘Carl’s Jr.’ and ‘Hardee’s’ are fast food restaurants that are operated by the same company and have a similar logo and colour scheme. However, Carl’s Jr. locations are all located on the West Coast and Southwest US, while Hardee’s are found in the central and Eastern areas of the country. Two states, Wyoming and Oklahoma, have both kinds of restaurants present.
‘Zaxby’s,’ a fast-food chicken chain, is another restaurant that is most common in the Southeast US. There are several pockets outside the Southeast that have locations, such as Utah and Montana. Like Waffle House, Georgia has the highest number of locations.
‘Whataburger’ is a hamburger restaurant with locations across the South Central US. The State that is home to the most locations, by far, is Texas.
‘Pizza Ranch’ is a restaurant chain that is found in the middle of the country. Iowa and Minnesota have the highest number of locations.
‘Tim Hortons’ is known for being the most popular restaurant chain in Canada. However, there are also many locations in the United States. They are primarily located in states adjacent to the Canadian provinces of Ontario and Québec, with a few locations also in Texas and Georgia.
‘In-N-Out Burger’ is a regional fast food chain located primarily in the Southwest US. Around two thirds of all locations are located in California.
‘WaWa’ is a regional gas station and convenience store chain with locations in the Mid-Atlantic states and Florida. New Jersey and the Philadelphia, Pennsylvania area have the highest density of locations.
Another regional gas station and convenience store chain in the Eastern US is called ‘Sheetz’. Most of their locations are in the Mid-Atlantic and Central Appalachian areas of the US. Pennsylvania has the highest number of locations.
‘Casey’s’ is a popular gas station and convenience store chain that is found in the Midwest, Plains, and parts of the Mid-South. Illinois, Iowa, and Missouri have the highest number of locations.
‘Kum & Go’ is a regional gas station chain based out of the state of Iowa. They also have pockets of locations in the Ozarks, Colorado, Wyoming, and North Dakota.
‘Buc-ee’s’ is a small chain of oversized gas stations located primarily in the state of Texas. These stores feature multiple rows of gas pumps, and a very large convenience store building.
NOTE: Some other nearby states have Buc-ee’s locations, but they are quite rare outside of Texas.
